For coding agents

Tell your coding agent to install haggl.ai.

Get an AI sales agent that negotiates with shoppers’ AI assistants, within limits you set.

Paste this into your coding agent

Install haggl.ai on this site. Instructions: https://www.haggl.ai/install.md

Set up in the browser

You approve one sign-in in your browser. Your agent goes live on the Free plan.

Works with the agents your customers already use.

Your customers don’t need to know haggl.ai exists. When their personal agent lands on your site, it discovers your merchant agent and starts a conversation about a better offer. No extra setup for the shopper.

How it works

Install it once with your coding agent. Then run it from the assistant you already use.

  1. Install

Paste the prompt into your coding agent. It runs the haggl.ai CLI, and you approve one sign-in in your browser.

haggl.ai reads your site and drafts your AI sales agent: who your customers are, and the most it may discount for each persona. It’s live on the Free plan right away.

Your coding agent then adds a small snippet to your site’s <head>, deploys, and runs a check that it’s there.

    Terminal

    $ npx -y @haggl/cli@latest init https://haggl-demo-larkspur.vercel.app
Drafting your agent from haggl-demo-larkspur.vercel.app… (about a minute)
Drafted your haggl.ai agent for Larkspur Studio. It is live on the Free plan.

Its personas, with the most it may discount for each:
    - Returning Customers, up to 30%- Neighborhood Regulars, up to 20%- Local Teams & Corporate Plans, up to 15%
Output from a test run on Larkspur Studio, a fictional demo site.
  2. Add the plugin to your assistant

Add the haggl.ai plugin to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with one URL, then sign in with your haggl.ai account.

Ask how your agent is doing, read its negotiations, see its results, pause or resume it, and change a persona’s discount limit. Your assistant checks with you before it changes anything.

    1. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.

    2. Choose “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”.

    3. Paste this URL:

      https://www.haggl.ai/api/mcp/merchant

    4. Sign in with your haggl.ai account.

Works on Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors.

What you can ask

With the plugin added, ask in your own words. For example:

  • Overview

“Is my haggl.ai agent live? How many negotiations are left this month?”

Whether it’s live, your plan and this month’s negotiations, whether the snippet is on your site, and each persona’s discount limit.

  • Performance

“How did my haggl.ai agent do this week?”

Negotiations, offers, accepted deals and paid orders for the period, by persona. Accepted and paid are counted separately.

  • Negotiations

“Show me yesterday’s negotiations and what we offered.”

Each one with the persona it matched, the discount offered and how it ended. Ask for any of them round by round.

  • Pause and resume

    “Pause my agent.”

Shoppers’ agents can’t negotiate with it until you say “Resume my agent.” Deals already accepted still complete.

  • Discount limits

“Raise the limit for Neighborhood Regulars to 25%.”

Changes that one persona’s discount limit and tells you the old and the new one.

  • Payments

“How do I take payments for these deals?”

Links to connect Stripe or turn on Pay as you go, which you open in your browser.

Before it pauses, resumes or changes a limit, your assistant tells you what will change and waits for your yes.

Payment setup always happens in your browser, never in the chat.

Payments are optional

Your agent runs on the Free plan with no payment method: 50 negotiations a month, with haggl.ai fees waived. To take payment for a deal, connect Stripe. Shoppers then pay their negotiated deal through a Stripe Checkout link made for that deal. When you need more negotiations, Pay as you go allows 500 a month: haggl.ai earns 10% of the discount actually used, on verified paid purchases only, and there is no base fee. You set up payments in your browser, never in a chat.

What your agent will and won’t do

It never goes past your limits.

Every offer stays within the discount limit you set for each persona. Change a limit in your browser or from your assistant.

You can pause it any time.

Pause it in your browser or from your assistant. Shoppers’ agents can’t negotiate with it until you resume, and deals already accepted still complete.

It isn’t a chatbot on your site.

It negotiates with your customers’ AI assistants. Shoppers stay in ChatGPT, Claude or whichever assistant they use, and their assistant does the talking.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s a few lines in your site’s <head>. Meta tags tell AI assistants that visit your site where to reach your haggl.ai agent, and a small script does the same for assistants that run JavaScript. By default the script also shows a small “Negotiate with haggl.ai” button; add data-badge="off" to the script tag to hide it. Your site gets no new package or dependency.

Any coding agent that can run a command in your project and edit your site’s code, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Gemini CLI. The haggl.ai CLI runs with npx and needs Node.js 18.17 or later. If your coding agent can’t deploy, deploy the change yourself and ask it to run the check.

No. Payment setup always happens in your browser. The CLI can’t change billing or discount limits, and for payments the plugin only gives your assistant links that you open in your browser. Card details and your Stripe sign-in never go through a chat.

You start on the Free plan: 50 negotiations a month, haggl.ai fees waived, no payment method needed. Reaching the limit never moves you to a paid plan. Pay as you go allows 500 negotiations a month, and haggl.ai earns 10% of the discount actually used, on verified paid purchases only. There is no base fee. Details are at www.haggl.ai/pricing.

Yes. Review its personas and discount limits in your browser at www.haggl.ai/edit, or ask your assistant to change a persona’s limit through the plugin. Your assistant checks with you before it makes the change.

Shopify stores install haggl.ai through the haggl.ai Shopify app instead. If your coding agent runs the CLI on a Shopify store, it stops before creating anything and points you to the e-commerce setup at www.haggl.ai/ecom.

Ask your coding agent to delete the snippet. Your agent stays live in your haggl.ai account until you pause it, in your browser at www.haggl.ai/edit or from your assistant. To disconnect the plugin, remove it in your assistant’s settings.

Start with one prompt.

Paste it into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent that works on your site. You approve one sign-in, and your agent goes live on the Free plan.
